Winter fishing is here, the smaller bait has moved in on the ledges while the AKU ( skipjack tuna) have moved out. Blue Marlin action is still consistent with most boats getting one bite every full day and on average 2 fish over 200 KG have been caught for the fleet each week. Not much to say for the striped marlin, spearfish or Ahi bite as they have yet to make a strong appearance. Dolphin fish have been found on floaters out wide, but not on the troll. As we head into April and May the spearfish should show up thick, with larger Blue Marlin arriving. History shows those months to produce the largest of the Marlin ever caught here.
